Microsoft extended the free provision of cloud services to Ukraine’s public sector

July, 2026

Microsoft announced the continuation of technological support to Ukraine until the end of 2027. The company will continue to provide cloud services free of charge to government agencies, educational institutions and regional authorities across the country. The corresponding statement was made during Conferences on the reconstruction of Ukraine, which took place in Gdansk (Poland).

Since the start of the full-scale war in 2022, Microsoft has remained one of Ukraine's key technology partners, supporting our country in the field of cybersecurity and providing resources to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical digital services. The total value of Microsoft's assistance to Ukraine has already exceeded 700 million US dollars.

As part of the support program, Microsoft continues to assist Ukraine in several key areas:

  • provides free technologies and cloud services that help government agencies, educational institutions, and social institutions operate smoothly and accelerate the provision of digital services;
  • strengthens the resilience of Ukraine's digital contour, building the state's cyber defense in the face of constant hacker attacks;
  • supports non-profit and international organizations that assist Ukraine and document war crimes against civilians by providing them with modern technologies and tools for working with data.

Microsoft is also investing in the long-term development of Ukraine's digital capabilities. By supporting initiatives like the program CDTO Campus, the company helps public sector leaders gain practical experience in using cloud technologies and artificial intelligence to improve the quality of public services and strengthen cybersecurity, which contributes to the development of digital government services and accelerates their implementation. Over 130 leaders of Ukraine's digital transformation have already joined the CDTO Campus program.

«"Digital transformation is an integral part of Ukraine's European integration and a guarantee of providing quality services to our citizens. The long-term partnership with Microsoft has helped Ukraine protect critical digital infrastructure and ensure the continuity of government agencies in extremely difficult conditions. We highly appreciate the continuation of this support."», – noted Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Taras Kachka.

«Our long-term partnership reflects our commitment to helping Ukraine build a digital future. By continuing our support through 2027, we are not only helping to ensure the continuity of critical services today, but also contributing to the further transformation of Ukraine through reliable digital technologies that will become the foundation of a secure and innovative economy,», – said Jeff Bullwinkel, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Corporate External and Legal Affairs, Microsoft EMEA.
